At Velvet, we believe caring is rooted in human connection. Through engagement with local nonprofit partners, the Velvet Foundation works to give back within our communities by seeking to understand what’s most needed and collaborating on impactful solutions. We always show up ready to listen and pitch in.  

Starting with our flagship location in Martinez, each Velvet location works with local community partners to make the most impact through direct volunteer support and charitable contributions. The intention of the Velvet Foundation is to create community engagement opportunities that are meaningful, purposeful, and help those in need directly in the areas we operate.

Velvet also recognizes that participating in these activities enriches and inspires the lives of our employees. For that reason, Velvet employees are offered a paid day off each year to volunteer in support of the causes they care about most.
